What’s Mighty Mist made out of? Does it contain alcohol or fragrance?

Our ingredients list is simple and transparent:

  • Hypochlorous acid (MightyHOCl™)

Mighty Mist contains no alcohol and contains no fragrance. Plus, all DayBreak products are produced free of SLS, oils, phosphates, phthalates, parabens, dyes, colorings, and many more.

What does it smell like?

Hypochlorous acid is a very special form of the chlorine atom that gives Mighty Mist that clean, pool smell. It’s also an important indicator to your nose. Hypochlorous acid should always have a slight chlorine smell to it and it’s that clean smell that lets you know you’ve got an active hypochlorous acid product.

It’s important to remember that chlorine atoms can be found in many different types of molecules like bleach. However, Hypochlorous acid is NOT bleach and is not the same chemical used in pools, those are different types of molecules with chlorine in them.

What does it feel like?

Howdy! My name is Seth,

I struggled with regular breakouts on my face for years without finding a solution. In 2020, I stumbled across a natural chemical called hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which has been used in hospitals and healthcare for over 100 years to treat and heal wounds. 


Once I started using it, my skin began to clear up, and I quickly discovered so many more uses for HOCl in my daily life.
